Slow Motion

OvercrankingRalenti

Slow motion filmmaking plays action over more screen time than the event occupied during capture, usually by overcranking (recording 120 to 240 fps and playing at 24). The extra samples reveal fabric delay, particle hang, and impact mechanics that a 24 fps shutter would compress into a few smeared frames.
