Chromatic Aberration
Chromatic aberration in chromatic aberration filmmaking is color fringing from different wavelengths focusing at different distances or magnifications. Lateral CA puts red-cyan (or similar) fringes on high-contrast edges, worse toward the frame edge, while longitudinal CA puts different colors in front of and behind the focus plane.
